SERVICE HISTORY
In conjunction with Shared Services Management team create and cultivate the culture of process improvement.
- Implement lean process improvement, and synergy and efficiency plans, within the Shared Services team of almost 300 people, including RTP, IT, HR, Financial Transaction Processing, Financial control and Procurement.
- Coach, mentor and influence at all levels so as to affect the required culture of continuous improvement within Shared Services.
- Facilitate the up skilling of various teams in the principles, philosophies and tools of Lean and/or Six Sigma and other related methodologies.
- Set-up, coordinate and direct continuous improvement activities across cross functional teams keeping the sustainability of improvements in mind and demonstrate the delivery of timely results. Engage with teams and individuals in a positive and constructive manner and support and facilitate teams in process mapping and the delivery of change.
- Work with the Shared Service Business Unit customers to ensure end to end improvements and efficiencies are delivered. Engage directly with customer groups to update and gather feedback.
- Build and develop a network of contacts and reference sites to ensure ongoing industry developments and improvements form part of the ongoing Shared Services service offering.
- Identify, maintain and coordinate the elements that lead to financial success.
- Collaborate with finance team to determine impact and implications of various options and recommend the best course for project delivery.
- Accountable for management of financial risk and opportunities across multiple project phases and delivery groups.
- Facilitate the development of a Cost Benefit Analysis (CBA)
- Overall responsible and act as a Change Agent for Lean Manufacturing implementation for the site.
- Ensure common Lean tools are being deployed across the site with one look and feel.
- Chairman for the SGA and Poka Yoke committee.
- Responsible for all Corporate, Regional and site requirement and goals related to Business Excellence are achieved.
- Closely follow up with internal team on project plan to ensure task completion timely to meet customer expectations.
- Track and report status on an ongoing basis.
- Recognize potential problem areas against the plan and identifies and implements alternative solutions.
- Raise concerns based on measurement criteria and provide recommendations to maximize performance.
- Manage change control processes and is responsible for overall project execution.
- Provide project team with regular performance updates/reviews for identification of variances and corrective action.
- To maintain and develop existing customers as well to establish new ones by providing focused and dedicated customer service through an assigned account management approach.
- Support, train, mentor and coach Leaders, Supervisors, team Leaders and Operators on HOS principles, processes, and tools as defined in the Standard Implementation framework

- Trained 800 employees from all levels on all the topics in Lean Manufacturing.

- Core team member for the site wide BIQ implementation, including training.
- Determine scope of Lean initiative and create work plan – including deliverables, key activities, timelines and responsibilities.
- Lead generation of customer insights based on customer interviews, focus groups, and surveys. Customer insights will be a key factor in shaping solution in development.
- Lead scorecard/key metrics development to monitor progress for both before and after process redesign. Scorecards will also be tracked and monitored on an on-going basis by the business unit and appropriate executives/officers.
- Lead development of training materials to teach new processes to front liners, managers and other necessary parties. Ensure that business teams have sufficient trainings, so they can make change stick and continuously improve. HR – training and communications will be heavily involved in developing the training materials.
- Managed a 50K square foot office space employing 250 workers inclusive of Supervisors, Leaders and Operators.
- Managed daily production plan and ensure smooth flow in production line in order to meet daily output and meet customers demand.
- Lead 5S activities.
- Responsible for cost and quality improvements.
- Managed a 100K square foot office space employing 70 workers.
- Manage day to day production related issues in order to have a smooth flow of operation to meet daily pack numbers.
- Ensure production processes are aligned with specified key performance indicators such as quality, productivity, OTD and also to meet 100% customer satisfactory level.
- Lead all Lean activities for the site.
- Lead 5S improvement for the site.
ACCOMPLISHMENTS
- Generated $2 million in first-year cost savings through Lean Manufacturing initiatives and business case development.
- Completed 50 over Lean projects and also 3 major Lean event for the site.
- Completed Lean Six Sigma Green Belt and Lean Expert trained.
- Trained more than 800 employees from Directors to Operators level on Lean modules.
- Completed a Line Setup for new startup company.
- Completed more 300 over Lean Projects in total of 13 years of working experience in various departments.
